My Journey
Hi I’m Charlotte, founder of Journey Home Styling.
My passion for interiors started when I was a child, inspired by my mum who shares the same love for all things home decor.
Watching her decorate and renovate our childhood homes with so much care and attention to detail left a lasting impression on me and shaped my own journey into interiors. When we brought our first home, a Victorian end terrace that needed some TLC, I was beyond excited to furnish it and soon discovered just how much I loved interiors. I spent countless hours searching for the perfect decor and spent every free moment transforming each space into a home that we loved.
However, the turning point happened in 2021 when we bought our current home, although it needed a lot of vision to see its full potential we instantly fell in love with the space and couldn’t wait to get stuck in.
It was then that journeyat_number30 was born – an Instagram account where I could document our home’s transformation journey and share my love for interiors and home styling with a like-minded community.
As the account grew so did the volume of requests from others seeking advice and guidance for designing and enhancing their own homes.
What had started as a personal passion had evolved into something much bigger and after four years of building a successful online community Journey Home Styling was created.
